playa del carmen, mexico
We took a trip to Playa del Carmen for our anniversary to bask in the sun and live the all-inclusive lifestyle for a few days. We spent the first night in downtown Playa and spent the rest of the trip at the resort living it up and getting sunburned. The weather was warm--in the high 80's--but the wind was pretty strong which caused the waves to kick up more sand than usual and turn the really clear-blue water at the shore into a sandy mess. Lots of clouds, but still tons of sun--enough to thoroughly burn both of us.
From Dallas, Cancun is such a short flight and the prices are so reasonable that we're already trying to figure out when we want to go back.
